The Volume
When it comes to vaping, the most common purchase that has to be made is e-liquid since that is what is vaporized in your electronic cigarette. E-liquid is to an e-cig what gasoline is to a car. Without it, pretty little can happen.
There are a variety of e-juice bottle sizes available on the market, although some manufacturers prefer certain sizes over others.
What Bottle Sizes Are Available?
At the lower end of the spectrum, you will be able to purchase a 3ml bottle of e-liquid. This may look like a very tiny amount of e-juice but do not be fooled by the single digit volume. That 3ml is the equivalent of 8-10 ordinary cigarettes so that is some hours of vaping at the very least.
There is also the 10ml bottle. This is readily available for nearly all e-liquid suppliers as it is almost the unofficial standard volume purchased by most people. This quantity is estimated to be equivalent to between 80 and 100 tobacco cigarettes so depending on how much you go through in a day, this bottle can take you some time before it is depleted.
At the higher end is the 30ml bottle. This one can last as much as the duration that you would require to consume approximately 300 ordinary cigarettes. You can also get 50ml bottles. That is some serious amount of e-juice!
What Bottle Size Is Recommended?
There are many factors that influence the size of bottle that is good for you and we shall look at a few here.
First, if you are a new vaper, you may have not yet decided on a favourite flavour or e-juice maker. In that case, it is advisable that you buy the smaller bottles as you experiment with different flavours.
The small bottles will save you from spending so much on a liquid that may turn out to be undesirable to you, hence getting wasted. You can vape the juice in the small bottle and switch to another flavour or strength without dumping any e-juice.
Once you make up your mind on a select few flavours that you will make your regular ones, you can then shift to buying e-liquid in bigger bottles as that will be cheaper in the long run.
It therefore follows that those that have been at it longer will be more likely to buy the larger bottles since they have already decided which flavours are best for them, and the maker of the e-juice they like.
The second consideration is how heavily you vape on a daily basis. The more you vape on any given day, the bigger the volume of e-liquid you will need to buy to quench your craving. That means the 30ml bottle will be your starting point when buying e-juice.
As we have seen in the discussion above, it makes more economic sense to buy a larger bottle, but that should come once an individual has established their favourite flavours and manufacturer. At the end of the day, what is good for one person may not be good for another so feel free to make up your own mind.
