How to find the best e-cig for you?

Are you one of the thousands of people currently considering the purchase of an e-cigarette?  Do you know what to look for when buying one of these portable devices?  The electric cigarette is rapidly ascending in popularity in recent years, largely because it offers users a much safer way to smoke.  However, when purchasing one of these devices, there are many factors you’ll need to consider—factors that will help to ensure you get just the right product for you and the most pleasurable experience.  In the article below we will discuss some of these factors in a bit more detail, factors that include the cost, features and accessories you should consider when purchasing your first e-cig.

Naturally, the chief advantage of opting for electronic smoking (a process that has come to be known as “vaping)” is the complete absence of tobacco and harmful smoke, both of which have been linked to a number of health risks and diseases. These risks have led to an utter outburst of sales, especially among the younger generation.  However, just because their are far safer than their traditional counterparts, it doesn’t mean you should buy the first one you see without first doing your research.  Before you head out to purchase your new e-cig, here are just a few factors to consider:

Cost

As consumers, we all have the tendency to seek out the lowest price on the items we buy.  This can be a good strategy when it comes to some items (groceries, etc.), but with other items, including e-cigs, the lowest price can often signal an inferior product, one that will actually cost you more money in the long run.

They can vary greatly in price, ranging from approximately ten dollars for the disposable e-cig models, up to two-hundred dollars or more for the top of the line brand.  Fortunately, since their introduction several years ago, the price has actually come down somewhat, which is definitely a positive for you as a first-time purchaser.

As a novice “vaper,” we recommend you look for a middle-of-the-road price when starting out, anywhere from about $62 to $85.  At the high end of this range, you can normally find a very high-quality model, one that comes with all the appropriate features and accessories (explained in the section).  Most kits in this range will also come with an initial supply of e-liquids, so you can try your new kit without making a secondary investment on a package of e-liquid cartridges.
